WHY WE LOVE THIS WINE
Intense and deep violet color. On the nose it clearly represents the variety, it is intense, complex, expressive and elegant, with notes of blue and red fruits, plum, black pepper, violets and sweet spices. In the mouth it is very balanced, vibrant, medium body, elegant, precise and long end.
ABOUT THE WINERY
The Incident, is an Icono wine based on Carmenere. The grapes come from a selection of the best vineyards owned by Viu Manent, located in the Colchagua valley. The Carménère comes from the La Capilla vineyard and the Malbec, in San Carlos. We baptized this wine with the name "El Incidente" in memory of the already mythical trip that José Miguel Viu B, 3rd generation of the family at the head of the winery, made with a group of friends to fly over its vineyards in Colchagua. The adventure ended unexpectedly when the Globe fell in an open-air market in the town of Santa Cruz, before the surprised eyes of many spectators.
