WHY WE LOVE THIS WINE
100% Tinto Fino, from the area of Castrillo de la Vega, located at an average altitude of 800 meters, in the province of Burgos. The grapes come from old vineyards between 26 and 50 years old, all owned by viticulturists in the area.
ABOUT THE WINERY
The Duero is the most important river in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula. It rises in the southern foothills of Urbión peak, at 2160 m above sea level, and flows into the Atlantic Ocean, in Oporto. It is 897 km long and its riverbank is witness to the best wines in the world.
At Casa Rojo we conceive the creative process of winemaking as an exploration of the intrinsic quality of our manually harvested grapes, characteristics of unique terroirs, enhanced by the climate and carefully cultivated by professionals who love them."
