WHY WE LOVE THIS WINE

Hand harvested grapes, quickly and gently pressed, then cooled and fermented. The wine was kept on fine lees and bottled early to preserve freshness. This is a more substantial, serious rosé wine, made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes. It is characterized by finesse, purity and minerality, with a distinctly Provençal style.

ABOUT THE WINERY

The Gál Tibor Winery is one of the iconic estates in, not only Eger, but all of Hungary. Gál Tibor Sr. was perhaps Hungary's most famous vingeron, having been the winemaker for Lodovico Antinori's Ornellaia and a sought after consultant internationally, before he died in 2005 while working in South Africa. Today, his son, Gál Tibor Jr., runs the family estate continuing in his father's footsteps, crafting some of the most expressive wines in Eger.
