WHY WE LOVE THIS WINE
This has an exotic edge with plenty of cedary oak across pomegranate and dried-flower aromas, as well as flinty and ferrous nuances. The tannins are assertive and drive boldly, delivering a strong, cherry and red-plum core. Long finish.
ABOUT THE WINERY
Preve is the name of a small vineyard in the Lazzarito sub-zone of Serralunga d'Alba. The particular combination of soil and exposure to the sun generates a wine of great volume and energy. Its complexity and its ability to evolve and improve for a long time does not preclude elegance and pleasure in youth.
