ABOUT THE WINERY
Founded in 1984, Olivier Leflaive is a négociant winemaker based in the village of Puligny-Montrachet. They vinify and age the equivalent of 120 hectares of vines – including 17 of their own – the majority of which are white wines from Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Meursault, as well as from Chablis and the Côte Chalonnaise. This is the 2020 vintage of the domaine’s `Clos de la Velle’, a single, walled vineyard situated on well drained soils just below the village of Meursault. An opulent expression made from 40-year-old vines.
